I am going to try to dual-boot windows and mac. Assuming I can get sighted help installing windows on my mac through boot camp, how would I boot to windows?

When you hear the startup chord, hold the option key down, and press the right arrow once, followed by return.

Now, can anyone tell me if a quick way exists to change volume on a windows boot camp? I have a mac book latest model. Also, can anyone tell me how to eject a CD without going into windows media player and selecting eject from the play menu? I have windows XP.

how do you go back to mac OSX when you're in a windows version in bootcamp.

You can go into the bootcamp control panel and select macintosh as the startup disk. Next time you reboot, you'll be in OS X. Or, as mentioned above, you can select which OS you'd like to boot into once you hear the startup sound.

i'd suggest myself having mac as your primary OS and switch to windows as needed. as for ejecting, doing it from in my computer works too.
volume works as normal as on a windows computer from control panel or from the volume icon

Yes, but there doesn't seem to be a way to have hotkeys like in osx for changing volume on the fly.

The hot keys are the same. Of course, I have it set in Boot Camp preferences to use the function keys to control software, but if you press the FN key, and the function key of your choice, it does it's OSX equivalent.

I don't think so. I use fn pllus f12 often. Actually, to get windows to recognize the f keys normally, I need to use fn. All except f3 and f4.
